Am I forever a prisoner of my past? To be honest, I don't really know right now. As you, the unsuspecting blog reader, happen upon this post and possibly decide to ponder this question for your own personal use, let us listen to this wonderful podcast produced by This American Life. It will not disappoint. And hopefully, it will help you in developing an answer to the posed question.
After all is said and done, 1 John 5:5 can lend some comfort: Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
*1000 points to anyone who can guess my favorite line in the podcast.
